The main thing that MOST people miss is starting a business is investing in your SELF.
This is where all your experiences, your courage, your learnings, your personal commitment culminates into your leap of faith in your SELF. Your own abilities, your capabilities and everything that you have invested in your own personal growth and development.
When you start a business, you are the frontline person. You are your own walking billboard and you are responsible for seeing this through. As the Leader in your organization, you are committed to its growth.
The opportunity lies in your hands to be able to help change lives, create more jobs, provide leadership in the business community, help the ‘economic’ climate of your area by encouraging them to buy local, etc. There’s so much more to starting a business than provide income and profit for you. Sometimes, you just got to look at the bigger picture, because the opportunities to IMPACT are bigger than you!
So it is. Starting a business in about investing in your SELF, even if you invested in a franchise. You are banking your bucks on you because you know you have to talent and ability to grow the business and make it work.
